Is the ice age coming?
Everyone is talking about global warming and rising seas . But, people has forgotten the most dangerous consequence of the global warming: global cooling. This might sound very weird for the unknowing, so let me explain why the world will transform into a refrigerator and not a sauna.
Infact, the world has tried it before. Lot's of time actually. Last time was for 120.000 years ago, during the middle-ice age: The climate was a bit hotter then it is in this middle-ice age. Anyway, the North pole was melting! And the big amount of freshwater that came from the North pole was flushed out in the Gulf Stream and weakened the Gulf stream. So the Gulf Stream had stopped transporting hot water from the south up to the north. The ice age had begun! It quickly became very cold! And the ice was spreading across the land.
Could this happen again?
The question is not: "could this happen again?". The question is "when will it happen again?". Now, dont get worried, but it do not look good. You might not have noticed it, but the climate is hotter then it should be and the North Pole is melting!
And there are much freshwater in the ice of the North Pole. And if there comes to much freshwater out in the gulf stream, it can be weakened once again. And that´s bad, unless you like cold weather and snow. The next bad thing is that the scientists believe that the North Pole might be melted away during the next 10-20 years. So that means the next ice age could come in 2020. [But that´s only if we are very unlucky!]
But it does not stop there!
Low solar-activity could trigger a global cooling already in the middle of this century.
It is the Russian astronomer Khabibullo Abdusamatov from Pulkovos Astronomical Observatory, which comes with the somewhat controversial climate-prediction.
He says in an interview to the Russian online newspaper Pravda.Ru that the temperature can already begin to fall on the six to seven years.
The coldest period, according Abdusamatov occur on the 15-20 years following a major decline in the solar-activity in the years from 2035 to 2045.
He predicts a temperature drop of about 1 degree.
The Russian astronomer points out that such changes in temperature is a very common phenomenon and is the result of natural variations of the solaractivity - and thus also of the sun emits particulate matter - and as popular is called the solar flux.
Will we enter a super ice age?
Probably not. Even if the weakening of the gulf stream, and the low solar-activity was combined, it would only cause a normal cold ice age. But, if the super volcano in Yellowstone, USA, had an eruption, it would be devastating for the world. These 3 things combined would cause a major drop on the temperature: around 25-30 degrees and it could turn the earth into a big "snowball"! And the super volcano erupts every 600,000 year... And for 600.000 years ago it had it's last eruption. So in theory, there is actually a high risk of it to erupt very soon. But there can easily go 1000 years before the super volcano erupts. So don't worry about that.
Final statement
If the ice age comes, it would be devastating for everybody. People from North and Central Europe, North America, and parts of North-Asia will have to move to the south. We are lucky if there wont start a world war during that process. And even if the war stayed away, many people would still die of starvation, because much of the worlds food-production would simply stop.
But we still have much time to prepare our self... And maybe, we wont be so unlucky as it looks like. But you know the risk now!

When the volcano does erupt 99% of USA life will die. How do we know? Studies in the earth layers show that kind of event happened before. This summer, next year, or 1,000 years from now.
If major earth quakes happen, large steam vents occur, sulphur fumes rise, animals at Yellowstone start, the lake there changes shape, researchers will do studies.
